Target GroupOffshore personnel in emergency response functions
ObjectiveUpdate the course participants understanding and skills to ensure their own and others’ safety in a crisis situation and contribute to safe behavior. Upon completion of the course, participants will have maintained and updated knowledge and skills in:
- Use of rescue sling.
- Helicopter evacuation (HUET) (see comments under additional information).
- Proper use of a rescue suit with air supply.
- Use of a life raft.

- Risk understanding and barriers.

- Helicopter evacuation.
PrerequisitesBasic safety training or equivalent comparable competence. Active member of one of the following emergency response teams: Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) and/ or Search & Rescue Team
