Target GroupPersons with tasks in or relating to search and rescue teams. The course meets the requirements of the Norwegian Oil Industry Association for refresher courses to maintain basic knowledge.
ObjectiveTo update and maintain knowledge, skills and attitudes in connection with the participants’ emergency response functions in or relating to search and rescue teams.
Course ContentsThe course consists mainly of practical exercises, with emphasis on briefing and debriefing.
- Tactical teamwork.
- Search and rescue techniques.
- Smoke diving.
- Life-saving first aid.
- Fire-extinguishing techniques.
PrerequisitesOne of the following courses:
- Search and rescue Team Course.
- Advanced Safety Training for Ship Officers.
- STCW Upgrading for Officers and Technical Personnel.
